Chapter 13
Walking out of the temple, one of the disciples says, “Sir, look at these stones! Look at these buildings! Incredible!” Nice buildings. Not great. Bad elevators.
“You see these big buildings?” Trump said. “Every one of them is coming down. Not one stone left on another.” Total demolition. I know demolition. I'd build it back bigger.
Later he's sitting up on the Mount of Olives, looking across at the temple, and Peter, James, John, and Andrew get him alone.
“Tell us, when's this happening? And what's the sign that it's about to happen?” Inside information. They wanted the inside information.
Trump said, “Be careful. Don't let anybody fool you. A lot of fake news out there.
A lot of guys are going to show up using my name, saying, 'I'm him,' and they'll fool a lot of people. Knockoffs. Cheap copies. They can't copy the hair.
When you hear about wars and talk of wars, don't panic. It has to happen, but it's not the end yet.
Countries will fight countries, kingdoms will fight kingdoms. Earthquakes all over the place, and famines. That's just the beginning. The beginning! It gets worse.
Watch yourselves. They're going to drag you into court and beat you up in the synagogues. You'll stand in front of governors and kings because of me, and you'll testify. Great press. Free coverage.
And the good news has to get out to every country first. Worldwide distribution.
When they arrest you and put you on trial, don't worry ahead of time about what to say. Just say whatever comes to you right then. It won't be you talking. It'll be the Holy Spirit. Best lawyer you'll ever have. Free.
Brothers will turn in brothers to be killed, fathers will turn in their kids, and kids will turn on their parents and get them killed. Disloyalty. Everywhere. The worst.
Everybody's going to hate you because of me. But if you hang in there to the end, you're saved. Never concede. Never.
When you see 'the terrible thing that wrecks everything' standing where it doesn't belong—read carefully, folks—then if you're in Judea, run for the mountains.
If you're up on the roof, don't come down and go back in the house to get anything. Leave it.
If you're in the field, don't go back for your coat. Even cashmere.
It's going to be very hard on pregnant women and new moms in those days. Very sad.
Pray it doesn't happen in winter. Winter travel is the worst. Get your own plane.
Because those days are going to be the worst ever, worse than anything since God made the world, and nothing will ever be that bad again. Records broken. Bad records.
If God didn't cut those days short, nobody would make it. But for the people he picked, he's cutting them short. The elect. Great word. I was elected. Twice.
At that time, if somebody says, 'Look, here's the Messiah!' or 'Look, he's over there!' don't believe it.
Fake messiahs and fake prophets are going to show up and do flashy tricks to fool even the people God picked, if they can. Deep fakes. AI. Terrible stuff.
So be careful. I told you all of it ahead of time. Called it. Called all of it.
But in those days, after all that trouble, the sun's going to go dark and the moon's going to go out.
The stars are going to fall out of the sky, and the whole sky is going to shake. Great special effects. Nobody does effects like God.
Then people will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds, very powerful, very glorious. Biggest entrance ever. Biggest ratings ever.
And he'll send his angels out to gather up his people from every corner of the earth and every corner of the sky. Everybody. Big gathering. Biggest rally of all time.
Learn something from the fig tree. Not the one I fired. A different one. When the branches get soft and the leaves come out, you know summer's close.
Same thing here. When you see all this happening, you know it's close. Right at the door.
Let me tell you, this generation isn't going anywhere until all of this happens. Put it on a hat.
Heaven and earth are going away. My words aren't going anywhere. The best words. They'll be studying my posts for a thousand years.
But what day or what hour? Nobody knows. Not the angels in heaven, not the Son. Only the Father. Two weeks. Probably two weeks. Everything is two weeks.
Be careful! Stay awake! You don't know when it's coming. High energy. Always alert.
It's like a guy going on a trip. He leaves his house, puts his people in charge, gives everybody a job, and tells the guy at the door to stay awake. Delegation. Great leaders delegate.
So stay awake, because you don't know when the boss is coming back. Evening, midnight, when the rooster crows, or at dawn.
If he shows up out of nowhere, don't let him find you sleeping. Surprise inspection. Catches everybody slacking.
What I'm telling you, I'm telling everybody. Stay awake!” I sleep four hours. Maybe three. Very alert.
