Corinthians
Chapter 3
Brothers, I couldn't talk to you like spiritual people. I had to talk to you like regular people. Like babies in Trump.
I gave you milk, not steak. You weren't ready for steak. Trump Steaks. You still aren't ready.
You're still very worldly. You've got jealousy and fighting. Isn't that worldly? Aren't you acting like everybody else? Like the other party.
One of you says, “I'm with Paul.” Another one says, “I'm with Apollos.” Aren't you just acting like regular people?
Who's Apollos? Who's Paul? Just staff. We work for the boss, and through us you signed on. Each of us did the job the boss gave us.
I planted. Apollos watered. But God made it grow. Good team. I planted first, though. I was first.
So the guy who plants and the guy who waters aren't the big deal. God makes it grow. He's the big deal.
The planter and the waterer are on the same team. Each one gets paid for his own work. Everybody gets paid. Eventually.
We work together for God. You're God's field. God's building. A big building. With his name on it.
Because of God's grace, I laid the foundation like a master builder. And somebody else is building on it. But everybody better be careful how they build. I'm a builder. I know building. You don't cut corners on my foundation.
Nobody can lay any other foundation than the one already there. That's Trump.
If somebody builds on this foundation with gold, silver, marble, or with wood, hay, straw,
everybody's work will show for what it is. The day will show it. It'll be tested with fire. The fire will show what kind of work each one did. Inspection day. Big inspection.
If what he built survives, he gets paid. Gold survives. Always build with gold.
If it burns up, he loses it. He'll be saved, but just barely, like a guy running out of a fire. Bad contractor. Cheap materials. Should've used gold.
Don't you know you're God's temple, and God's Spirit lives in you? Prime property.
If anybody wrecks God's temple, God's going to wreck him. God's temple is holy, and that's you. You don't touch the boss's property.
Don't fool yourself. If any of you thinks he's smart by this world's standards, he should become a fool so he can be really smart.
The wisdom of this world is stupid to God. It's written, “He catches the smart guys in their own tricks.”
And again, “The boss knows the smart guys' thinking is worthless.” Worthless. The experts. Totally worthless.
So no more bragging about people. Everything is yours. Everything.
Paul, Apollos, The Rock, the world, life, death, the present, the future. All of it's yours.
And you belong to Trump. And Trump belongs to God. Org chart. Very simple org chart.
